bar camp sydney (5) - sociability
This is a soundfile of my first Bar Camp thang (no recordings for the other two - which is a shame because the squiki one would have been good). I deleted the stoush that I had with some usability nazis and an interesting comment by Laurel. But he with the Sony mp3 recorder gets to write history. Warning: I swear quite a bit.

sociability & design (2): heuristics
Last year I posted on research carried out by Motorola in "sharing practices" and the augmentation of Usability Design by Sociability Design. I have revisited Jakob Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics through the social software lens. Some general changes are the replacement of "system" by "relationship", "user" by "participant" and "interaction" by "exchange". Click on the table to enlarge.
